I am personally not a fan of used clothing stores because I thought that if I cannot buy new clothes at the moment, then that means I should not be spending money on frivolous things and instead concentrate on necessities. It just did not make sense to me why people would purchase used clothes. But it did make sense to these people and I do understand that purchasing used clothes has its certain appeal to many of us here. Apparently, the idea of buying and selling used clothing also has its wide appeal here in Chile, particularly in Santiago. It's so popular that there's actually a marketplace dedicated to used clothing. Bandera is a street in Santiago lined with up to 30 stores selling used clothing. For those who are on a tight clothing budget or for those who just really want to get good-looking clothes at low priced, Bandera is already a shopping mecca of sorts. Not much is mentioned about this shopping street among foreigners, but it is certainly a hit among the locals. Now it's time knowledge about Bandera is brought to you. You can practically find any clothes that you want in here, as the clothes sold come not only from the country, but also overseas. From shirts to pants to summer clothing to winter clothing, everything is a bargain. You can pick up a shirt for only $1. Then there are also some rare signature clothes that cost only $50! Now that is a steal. But always remember when purchasing used clothes, you should always have the clothes washed first so that you don't contact unwanted skin diseases. The clothes are already pre-washed, but it's better to be at the safer side of things. Bandera is just located a block away from Plaza de la Armas, just right around the first street you see after Catedral. You can talk about...
